Product Details

In heavy industry, auto parts, and construction machinery production sites, many large metal workpieces cannot be moved to a stationary worktable. Inkjet codes are easily rubbed off, steel stamping produces rough marks, and pneumatic marking is noisy and prone to damaging workpieces. To address on-site industrial identification needs, LZY has developed two marking product lines: the [20–100W Portable Handheld Laser Marking Machine]{.underline} and the [200–300W High-Power Deep-Engraving Laser Marking Machine]{.underline}. The former is designed for flexible, medium-to-shallow on-site marking; the latter achieves deep engraving from 0.05 to 3mm, covering everything from lightweight identification to millimeter-level deep engraving.

II. Metal Material Field Tests: Marking Results on Stainless Steel, Steel Plates, and Auto Parts

The core indicators for metal marking are engraving depth, character clarity, abrasion resistance, and parameter adaptability. The following depth data were measured on stainless steel at 60s marking time for different power models:

6_副本.png

20W: 0.02–0.03mm – suitable for surface black marking, serial numbers, QR codes, and shallow LOGO marking.

30W: 0.03–0.045mm – balances speed and depth; ideal for auto parts nameplates and general hardware parts.

50W: 0.06–0.09mm – enables medium-depth engraving for steel plates and traceability marking on construction machinery components.

60W: 0.08–0.11mm – meets deep-engraving requirements in heavy industry with higher precision and faster processing speed.

For stainless steel workpieces requiring depth > 0.2mm, choose the 200–300W high-power deep-engraving model for millimeter-level marking.

1. Stainless Steel Material

Two main application types: high-contrast shallow marking and deep engraving.

Shallow marking (traceable QR codes, LOGOs, part numbers): Use high speed and medium power to produce high-contrast marks on stainless steel surfaces. Character edges are sharp, resistant to oil and abrasion, and QR codes remain reliably scannable.

Deep engraving: Reduce marking speed, narrow fill-line spacing, and increase number of passes. The 20W model can achieve approximately 0.05mm depth; the 60W model reaches up to 0.2mm engraving depth, with clear grooves that resist wear and impact.

2. Carbon Steel / Steel Plates

Handheld Laser Marking Machine: For large steel plates and welded frames – no need to move workpieces. After cleaning the surface oxide layer, marking can be done directly. Characters are sharp and can create a recessed effect. No impact vibration, low noise – can replace certain pneumatic marking applications, and supports QR codes and complex LOGOs.

High-Power Deep-Engraving Model: For thick steel plates and high-wear workpieces requiring greater depth – achieves 0.05–3mm engraving depth. The magnetic focusing stand adheres to the workpiece surface, eliminating handheld jitter and ensuring uniform engraving depth.

3. Automotive & Construction Machinery Metal Components

Covers gears, valve parts, heavy-duty truck frames, engine blocks, body VIN panels, alloy steel, aluminum alloy parts, etc.

The 20–50W handheld marking machine achieves high-precision shallow marking on precision gears and valve parts, with clean edges on fine serial numbers and QR codes.

The 50–60W handheld marking machine can produce durable marks within 0.2mm depth on chassis frames; on aluminum alloy parts, it can remove the oxide layer to form clear markings.

High-power deep-engraving models: For engine blocks, transmissions, and powertrain assemblies requiring depths around 0.3mm, the magnetic focusing stand stabilizes the focal length, and the system can be integrated with production lines for automated deep-engraving marking.
